1. TEM Cell
We offer the shielding effectiveness testing service for various shielding materials by using the TEM mode in which the electric and magnetic fields are mutually orthogonal. Materials are measured and evaluated under the same condition using plane wave. This method allows materials to be measured and evaluated under the same condition using plane wave.
- Measurement frequency range: 10MHz - 1000MHz (Step frequency: 20MHz)
- The acceptable sample size for the evaluation is 150(±1)mm wide x 50(±1)mm long and its thickness should be up to 5mm.
- This service is available from one sample.

2. Plane waves attenuation characteristic tests
We also provide the shielding effectiveness testing service using the method according to the Japan Defense Agency Standards NDS C 0012.
The sample is attached to a wall surface of an anechoic chamber and the plane wave attenuation (spot frequency) is measured and evaluated.
- Measurement frequency range:1GHz - 18GHz (step frequency:500MHz)
- Size of the sample for testing (depending on the size of the attachments)
(1) 540 - 680mm wide x 540 - 680mm long (square plate)
(2) 440 - 480mm wide x 440 - 480mm long (square plate)
(3) 250 - 290mm wide x 340 - 380mm long (rectangular plate)
*The size of the sample should be set in the range mentioned above.
* If it is difficult to prepare a sample of the above size, an attachment for the sample is newly available with an additional charge. - This service is available from one sample.
